CBS has made a very bold decision and scrapped off its low rated drama series “A Gifted Man.” The show has been witnessing lowest ratings on the TV circuit. Hence, this has led to its axing from CBS. The series, which ran only 16 episodes, was about a doctor, who is often visited by his deceased wife’s ghost. The series that started off in September last year, had registered very less viewership level, which further declined by the end of the second week. Though, CBS tried to boost up its popularity by moving it into the 9pm slot, but all that happened was that it lost its viewer base in that slot.

The only episode that garnered good viewership numbers was on March 2 nd, which was the finale of the series. This was the only thing that the team of “The Gifted Man” could cheer about. In place of the series, CBS played a gamble, by broadcasting Undercover Boss, which to everyone’s surprise did well than ‘The Gifted Man,” and cost the network much less. Looks like; it is truly the end of the road for the show as CBS is gearing up to buy new shows and remove the old non-performing ones. And, for those who liked this supernatural drama, it is time to bid the show good-bye.
